Four Recipes for Summer

I’m heading out camping for the rest of the week. We’ll be staying here for a few nights.

I cannot wait for s’mores and campfires! Good weather would also be really appreciated. Fingers crossed guys.

I have photos waiting to be edited, and posts to be written, but it just might not happen this week (Sorry!).

Since I’m leaving you guys without a new recipe this week, here are a few things from last summer. They’re still super great.

Coconut Milk Ice Cream

Believe it, or not this was the recipe from my first post! It seems unreal it’s been over a year now. I’m hoping to revamp this recipe sometime in the coming summer. Think chocolate and peanut butter, oh yeah!

Chard and Onion Egg Sandwich

This sandwich is like the epitome of summer. It’s all lazy and colourful and it doesn’t care if it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner. Give it a try.

Strawberry Rhubarb Crumble Pie

Strawberry-Rhubarb is the best combination of summer fruit. Ever. This pie coincidentally made another appearance this Father’s Day! Also known as the day I spent 4 hours trying to get pie crust right and not succeeding. Why you gotta be like that pie crust? I thought we were friends. It was still delicious.

Strawberry Salad

Perfect summer salad. This baby has strawberries (yum), bacon, and sunflower seeds. And some greens with a vinaigrette, but that’s not important. BACON. STRAWBERRIES. That is what we’re here for.

P.S Have a great weekend!
