In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in honey, hot sauce, soy sauce, chili flakes, and lemon juice. Let the sauce simmer gently for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Coat the Wings
5 Remove the wings from the oven and transfer them to a large mixing bowl. Pour the warm spicy honey butter sauce over the wings and toss thoroughly until every piece is well coated.
Garnish and Serve
6 Transfer the wings to a serving plate. Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions on top. Serve immediately while hot for the best taste and texture.
Note
- For extra crispiness, let the wings sit uncovered in the fridge for 1–2 hours before cooking.
- You can adjust the spice level by increasing or decreasing the hot sauce and chili flakes.
- Air fryer option: Cook at 180°C for 20–25 minutes, shaking halfway.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven to maintain crispiness.
- Add a touch of brown sugar for a deeper caramelized sweetness.
