Description

This Peach Sorbet with Honey is a naturally sweet, refreshing summer dessert made with ripe peaches and a touch of honey. It’s smooth, light, and dairy-free—perfect for hot days when you want something cooling, healthy, and easy to prepare at home.

Ingredients
    For the Sorbet Base
  • 4 large ripe peaches (peeled, pitted, and chopped)
  • 3 tbsp honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (for brightness and balance)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp lemon zest (optional, for extra freshness)
Instructions
    Prepare the Peaches
  1. 1
Wash the peaches thoroughly. Peel off the skin, remove the pits, and chop them into small chunks. Using ripe peaches is important—they should be soft and naturally sweet for the best flavor.
  2. Make the Honey Syrup
  3. 2
In a small saucepan, combine the honey and water. Heat gently over low heat for 2–3 minutes, just until the honey dissolves completely. Do not boil. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  4. Blend the Mixture
  5. 3
Place the chopped peaches into a blender or food processor. Add the honey syrup, lemon juice, and optional lemon zest. Blend until completely smooth. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness if needed by adding a bit more honey.
  6. Chill the Mixture
  7. 4
Pour the blended mixture into a bowl and refrigerate for about 1–2 hours. This step helps enhance flavor and improves the texture during freezing.
  8. Freeze the Sorbet
  9. 5
Transfer the chilled mixture into a shallow container. Place it in the freezer. Every 30–45 minutes, stir the mixture with a fork to break up ice crystals. Repeat this process 3–4 times until the sorbet becomes smooth and firm.
  10. 6
(Alternatively, use an ice cream maker for a smoother texture.)
  11. Serve
  12. 7
Once fully frozen and smooth, scoop the sorbet into bowls or glasses. Let it sit at room temperature for 3–5 minutes before serving for the perfect texture.
Note

Use very ripe peaches for natural sweetness—this reduces the need for extra honey.

If peaches are not in season, frozen peaches can be used (thaw slightly before blending).

For a smoother texture, an ice cream maker is highly recommended.

Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 week.

Add a splash of orange juice for a citrus twist.
