  • ½ tsp dried parsley or oregano
  • 1 tbsp grated parmesan-style cheese (optional)

    Prepare the Dough

    In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and instant yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until slightly foamy. Add flour, salt, and oil. Mix until a soft dough forms. Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

    Shape the dough into a ball and place it in a lightly oiled bowl. Cover with a clean cloth and let it rest in a warm place for 40–45 minutes or until doubled in size.
  4. Prepare the Cheese Filling

    In a bowl, mix mozzarella, cheddar (if using), garlic powder, and oregano. Set aside.
  6. Shape the Breadsticks

    Punch down the dough and divide it into equal portions. Roll each portion into a small rectangle. Place cheese filling in the center, fold the dough over it, and seal the edges tightly. Roll gently into breadstick shapes.

Note
